A Tale of Two Tables

Last night after the changing of the guard – where Luke gets up and leaves for work and I crawl into bed to sleep – I looked at our two bedside tables and realized that the differences between them were hilarious and revealing.

This is one table.  Glasses, more glasses, extra glasses, books, and more books.

And this is the other table.  Band-Aids, Neosporin, Tums, Benadryl, and more Band-Aids.

Can you guess which table belongs to which spouse?  Here, let me give you a hint.  One of us decided that he needed to go for a kayak ride last week while the river was high and the rapids were raging.  The other one of us sat and read a book, waiting for the call to come pick up his bleeding, battered self.  Hmm…
