Here’s the first sneak peek at the new illustration job I’m working on for the company My Lil’ Star. They’re redesigning their diaper packaging and needed to have their original artwork recreated. They wanted the characters exactly as they were, so there wasn’t much room for creative tweaking, but I can’t help but make them my own, seeing as how they came from my hands. This was my first job to be completed in Illustrator – it was fun! Nice in a crunch when you don’t want to sit and wait for watercolors to dry, but I’m not tossing out my brushes just yet. There’s still nothing better than playing with paint. Still a couple of other drawings before this job’s complete, I’ll show you those soon, too.

They look exactly like the originals. Good job. And how was it working with Illustrator? Did you scan them and digitally trace them? If you didn’t, you should have. So fast!!
